The Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib, on Saturday disclosed that Nigeria has so far vaccinated 4,680,000 million Nigerian residents against COVID-19 . Shuaib disclosed this in Benin during the South-South town hall meeting on COVID-19 vaccination organised by the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID in collaboration with the NPHCDA. The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has frowned at the disparity in payments of foreign and local workers in parts of the country. He criticised states in Nigeria that employed and paid foreigners five times higher than their Nigerian counterparts.
